a. This thread is to tell you what b. is.
Okay...
The main purpose of this forum, founded by Fast Snail, was to provide a place for us to play our forum-game. It's not a roleplay game. You don't take control of just one character, instead, you take control of a criminal faction. A Mafia family, a street-gang, a group of dangerous Irish mobsters. The idea is to form alliances, or, to go it alone and see if you can dominate the playground.
History.
This site, Cities of Crime, is the result of failures in the past.
In 2005, we set up a game at another site. We ran that one until it ended in mid 2006. The admins at the site wouldn't let us set up another game. They gave no reason why not. We left that site and formed the game at another site. But that one closed down. This is the third site...or rather, forum, which we built, specifically for our activities...and the game, without leeching off someone else's site or forum.
