London was (and still is) a very dark city. It's got HUNDREDS of squares and alleyways and dark corners and dead-end streets. All the crime you could commit...just think about it

We're gonna keep both timelines open, so dont fret if you dont want chicago to end yet, we're gonna have both games going.

I know were doing the London one, i'm just saying this as i thought it would be interesting. Rio De Janiero or Bogota (Capital of Columbia) or somewhere in north Latin America. Have the Jungle and a city known for it's crime. (Rio)

www.oldbaileyonline.org/history/london-life/london-life19th.htmlEarly 19th century London. Information on the population, the city, the people and social and political issues. www.workhouses.org.uk/The British workhouse system. Workhouses were the "social relief" system of the day. Read "Oliver Twist" if you want a good idea of the workhouse environment. It was one step above prison. You worked from seven in the morning until about six in the evening doing manual labour. Anything from cleaning rope to breaking up stones to cleaning clothes to grinding up bones to making match-sticks. Food was minimal and housing was poor. A natural breeding-place for crime. Just to give you an idea - The workhouse system was started in the 1600s and wasn't abolished until 1930. That's about four hundred years.

after london, or even later, I also have another idea. We would do a Mafia specific RPG on a country-wide scale, because, as you know, many of the families in the USA are really just divisions of New York or Chicago, we could split the country into say...Five or Six districts(all of course, with their major mob hubs) and then, when those are all claimed other members could take up positons as city leaders......and then we can try to concour specific cities or hubs, like, lets say......
I am the boss of the West Coast Mafia, which is all the states on the west coast, and my HQ is the Los Angeles Mafia. Shangas has a mafia family in Seattle, but it is just a splinter faction of my family, kinda like just a capo. UNderstand? It'd take time and family, but if we do it right, I think it could be really fun.

dont know how you guys would feel about it but i wouldnt mind doing one in the 16th-17th century (1500-1600). The era where guns were minimal, criminals were beheaded for stealing a loaf of bread and you were bound to get pickpocketed every day. Bandits were an every day occurence wars were everywhere. ;D ;D I WOULD LOVE DOING ONE OF THEM! but thats me. i was thinking london maybe. Please i would like feedback on this idea and its just an idea for everyones consideration.

I say, we could maybe even branch out from CRIME RPGs, and go to more specific character RPGs, maybe a cop one, where we're all cops on a force, some of us on the take, some of us good-hearted, and we all have to interact and work together?

Hmm that semi sounds like the idea that donscotti (i think) had and we were all in the same family. Its okay though not something i would be jumping for joy at. No offence falcon.

I like the Crime RPGs, yeah it would be interesting to do a police one. I was thinking a RPG in Miami in the 80s or as i said before, one in Latin America with all the drug kingpins ect. But that's just a throught. Oh yeah, whens the London one goner start?
